Terms of Use (Beta)

Welcome to Actuaplan (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you and Actuaplan when you accessactuaplan.com or use our services (“Service”). By using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you don't agree, please do not use the Service.
Beta status. Actuaplan is in public beta. Features may change, break, or disappear without notice. We appreciate your patience as we improve.
1. Account & Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract.
- Sign‑in is via Google OAuth. You are responsible for your Google account's security and all activity under your Actuaplan profile.
2. Plans, Trials & Payments

- Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc.; we do not store your full card details.
- Prices include applicable local taxes. We will notify you of pricing changes in advance.
- Cancellations & refunds: Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. Supporter/Patron payments are non-refundable, except as required by law.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Break laws or infringe third-party rights using the Service.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or access source code or undisclosed algorithms.
- Upload malware or disrupt networks or users.
- Use the Service to provide paid personalised financial advice.
We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these rules.
4. Intellectual Property
All software, design, text, and graphics on the Service are owned or licensed by Actuaplan. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence for personal, non-commercial use. No intellectual property rights are transferred to you.
5. Educational-Only Disclaimer (No Financial Advice)
Actuaplan provides simulations and educational content for informational purposes only. We are not a registered investment adviser and do not offer personalised financial, tax, or legal advice. Always consult qualified professionals before making real-world decisions.
6. Beta Warranty Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES—EXPRESS OR IMPLIED—INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) USD 50 or (b) fees paid by you in the 12 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your accesswith 30 days' notice (or immediately for serious breach). Terms intended to survive termination (e.g., IP, disclaimers, liability limits) will remain in effect.
9. Changes to the Service & These Terms
We may modify or discontinue Service features. Terms updates will be communicated via email (if available) or prominently displayed 30 days before taking effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
Unless mandatory law grants additional rights, these Terms are governed by Malaysian law without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in Kuala Lumpur courts, Malaysia. Both parties consent to jurisdiction there.
